The new APPG on Migration report recommends that asylum seekers be given the right to work after six months 👏 This could net the UK Treasury £181 million a year, a no-brainer policy.

We fed into this joint APPG on Migration APPG on Poverty inquiry which highlights how the system creates destitution by design. Their recommendations include reducing NRPF conditions, extending time for refugees to find housing, and #LiftTheBan on the right to work for asylum seekers.
Once again, MPs across Parliament say people seeking asylum should have the right to work.
