I should also apologise to some ppl for being so negative. I said many, many times that 'the endothelium cannot heal' etc blah blah. I was wrong. It can heal a fair bit. Time will tell how much better we can get.

Just got to say: an illness that doesn’t require hospitalisation or ICU is not the same thing as “mild” eg you can go permanently blind in both eyes from AMD & never need an admission for it. Similarly, it’s bizarre to see people regard loss of smell/taste from as mild.
