After I got sick w #MEcfs in 2014

I never sold my #triathlon bike,

it represented hope

that I'd get healthy again.

But this past weekend

I sold it.

I have #MyalgicEncephalomyelitis . I also have:
Diabetes, Small Fiber Neuropathy, POTS, Dysautonomia, Gastroparesis, MGUS, CAD, HOCM, an Aneurysm, DDD, Sjogren's, Endometriosis, Chronic Pain, PTSD & probably stuff I don't know/yet. I would rather have ALL of these than #MECFS .

Increasingly I've been realizing that the healthy world sees meeting with family and friends as my 'silver linings,' while it's actually the opposite. I go from PEM to PEM and I cannot wait to have an empty schedule again so I can return to my (shitty) baseline.

Die Trainingsobsession beruht wahrscheinlich auf der Fehlvorstellung, dass wir ausschließlich rumgammeln.

In Wirklichkeit bewegen wir uns genauso viel, wie die Krankheit zulässt. Und oft etwas mehr.

Dekonditionierung passiert erst zwangsläufig im schweren Stadium.
