Mumbai Metro3 had promised to plant back all trees which had been removed to build their underground stations....

But, not a single tree was planted back at 8 (of 27) stations inspected by the Bombay High Court Metro3 Tree Committee

In 2017, Metro3 was permitted to cut nearly 2k trees for underground stations on condition that every single tree would be restored when stations were complete

They have restored only 97 trees

Yet they give stories that work is 99.oh % complete
