Delighted to share my first movie made with . This is only the tip of the iceberg, but it’s exciting to think about what will become possible with this level of control over your molecular representations

This is a tldraw canvas in Jupyter. Here I'm using it to render directly from python into this amazing infinite canvas. Note how the canvas stays fully interactive as the images come in. That's possible thanks to by trevor manz under the hood.

I am currently exploring interactions with 3D models in Jupyter. Here, I have a protein that is rendered with the python package (by Brady Johnston), and then displayed in a notebook using Three.js: github.com/kolibril13/ipy…

The second comparison of rendered images. Wireframe modifier vs Stylized shaders+Freestyle of PDB:1G03 in blender. Wireframe is interesting!

I made this short idle animation of a lipid nanoparticle encapsulating mRNA! I recently got into using Blender (with lots of help from Brady Johnston CGFigures for tutorials and plugins) and its been fun. is not just for proteins 😁.

It's been a while since I've posted anything on the molecular/ front - life's been quite the whirlwind!🌀Amidst this metaphorical (sand)storm, can you discern the shape of ATP synthase (6n2y)? It's all about finding patterns in chaos! 🌪️

It's everyone's favourite reporter protein, Firefly Luciferase! 💡

Done with the new update to from Brady Johnston. Having direct access to protein secondary structure in Blender makes for striking renders.

I've always wanted to zoom through a bacterial transporter (PDB 1TQQ), thanks to Sarah Piper PiperProteinProductions for making it happen with her fantastic workshop using Brady Johnston . Looking forward to drastically improving my skills from here!
