I had the honour of being part of the Remembrance Sunday service Stoke-on-Trent CC on behalf of CombinedNHS. At Combined we’re proud to be NHS Veteran Aware and recognise the huge contribution that Veterans make to society.

This morning we begun our celebrations of Armed Forces Week by raising our flag! As part of the week, our next Veterans Coffee Morning is being held on 21/06 11am-2pm at the Louise Hamilton Centre, and anyone who has served is invited along. #NHSVeteranAware

🚨GULF WAR SYNDROME UK Office for Veterans' Affairs Rt Hon Johnny Mercer Royal Star & Garter Royal British Legion NHS Veteran Aware Absolutely disgusting. Rt Hon Johnny Mercer has blocked hundreds of vets & not just Gulf War vets. He has blocked Nuclear Test Vets, Gurkhas, NI Vets, Mefloquine affected vets, Iraq & Afghan Vets, Vets fighting for pensions.

He doesn't discriminate, he hates all veterans.

A veteran attended yesterday’s open door drop in session, immediate concerns were raised & Merseycare’s NHS Urgent care line was called by our staff.

The department then dispatched an ambulance crew, the veteran was taken in to A&E.

We had another successful veterans coffee morning yesterday run my our Armed Forces Advocate, Chris Blythe.
Thanks to all the organisations and people that attended and offered support and information. As well as the staff that helped out with running the event.
