As #NationalInsectWeek closes, it is very sad & ironic that the vegetation on #WincheapWaterMeadow has all been mown down again, taking with it the habitat on which many insects were growing to depend. Canterbury City Council desperately needs a Pollinator Action Plan.
I just made #nationalinsectweek ! Had to very quickly journal this gorgeous scarlet tiger moth I found in my garden. I've never seen one before! They love comfrey, (which we don't have) but, also enjoy the wondrously named hemp agrimony, so I got an excuse to draw more! π
