Today, Paddy Ashdown was put to rest in Norton-Sub-Hambdon, here in Somerset. My inspiration to politics, I leave you with a few wise words which we will sorely miss in the coming years. Rest In Peace, Paddy.

He served as a Royal Marine & Special Boat Service officer & as an intelligence officer in the UK security services. He was the Leader of the Liberal Democrats from 1988-99.
