Warden Tim spotted this melanistic beauty last week on the #ThamesBasinHeaths .
Be assured that he spotted it from a path he was walking, stopping to take this short video then respectfully moving on.

Warden Jo was treated to some glorious #Woodlark song in the sunshine at Heath Warren Forest in Hants on Friday!

With their love of bare ground and short vegetation, Woodlarks are drawn to these recently cleared forestry areas.

Woodlarks are fond of surveying their surroundings from a tree perch & will often sing to announce their presence!
You may see our wardens out and about with spotting scopes and binoculars - please do feel free to ask for a demonstration 😊
