Huge milestone for EGRISS - International Recommendations on Statelessness Statistics #IROSS are presented by Statistics Norway & endorsed by #UN54SC - wonderful collaboration with so many partners

SESRIC, as the Secretariat of the OIC Statistical Commission (OIC-StatCom), organized the Follow-up Meeting of the OIC-StatCom on 02 March 2023 in the margins of the 54th Session of the United Nations Statistical Commission ( #UN54SC ) in New York, USA.

Alhamdulillah, today is the last day of the #UN54SC meeting. Three items have been discussed, which are:
Item 6: Programme questions (Statistics Division)
Item 7: Provisional agenda and dates of 55th session of the Commission
Item 8: Report of the Commission on its 55th session.

This morning, the UN-GGIM and UNStats Expert Group on Integrating Statistical and Geospatial Information promoted the Global Statistical Geospatial Framework (GSGF) to #UN54SC

Last day of #UN54SC - the line of people to watch the conclusions was huge (it could also be related to the first day of #UNwomen commission - but I think not) #Statistics UNStats
