The boy is standing in the fireplace of a building on Tindal's Wynd. It was demolished a couple of weeks before this was taken. It seems to be a massive fireplace, so I can only imagine the that used to rage in it.

Many a has been lit in this room of Carbrook Hall. Originally dating back to 1176 the surviving wing (now a Starbucks) was built c.1620. In the English Civil War it was used as a Roundhead meeting place during the siege of Sheffield Castle
