On 16 May 2024, 16 🇮🇶 staff officers received their certificates after successfully completing the NATO Orientation Course at the Education Cadre Development Center (ECDC) with assistance from NMI PSE advisors. The ECDC aspires to become a NATO accredited institute.

From 15th to 20thApril, NMI advisors escorted an 🇮🇶delegation to Rome (Italy), in order to conduct a fact-finding visit to NATO and Italian Simulation Institutions. The visit aimed to strengthen the 🇮🇶 capability in the use of simulation systems.

Until 14th March, NMI MAD advisors supported a 3-week course on Military Decision Making Process, based on NATO Tactical Planning for Land Forces. German Mobile Advisory Training Team (MATT) conducted it, with the attendance of representatives from 🇮🇶 Services Commands.

On 27th February, NMI PSE and MAD advisors, led by NMI PSE Director, attended a meeting in 🇮🇶 Air Force College, where Staff Maj Gen Mustafa al Bayati briefed them on college history. NMI offered advisory support in areas of curriculum, languages and e-learning.

NMI TDD Director, Bg General Willer, attended together with 🇮🇶 counterparts, the distinguished visitor day of Combined Arms Training Course, hosted by Dean of 🇮🇶Staff College. This course qualifies the students to conduct the Tactical Planning for Land Forces.

On 19 February, NMI PSE Division advisors attended a Master Instructors event at the Defence University for Higher Military Studies (DUFMS). More than 35 instructors from seven different 🇮🇶 Military Institutions gathered for the first Community of Practice workshop.
