In the first photo, my 5 yo son standing proudly at the museum of flight. In the second photo, my 6yo son sitting in a specialized stroller, with a tube feeding him through his nose, completely paralyzed, and unable to speak.

8 yrs ago today. He had not been sleeping well. He looked tired. He was sensitive.
We didn’t know he was slowly dying.
We didn’t know we had less than a year with our beautiful boy.
I wish that day never ended.
That day, and all the days before.

Tomorrow my son Victor would be celebrating his 16th bday with cake and a brand new driver’s license.
Instead, we are sitting at his grave, remembering the beautiful boy he was.
