Why are the on BBC4? This is solid fried gold that 99.9% of the population needs to know this stuff on LFTs and PCR tests and instead Eastenders is on bb 1 and a liquor factory tour on bbc2....

It wouldn’t be Christmas without Royal Institution’s and not even 2020 can change that!

A trio of OUTSTANDING lectures from Prof Christopher Jackson, Helen Czerski and Tara Shine. Science communication of the very highest quality! 🙌🏽

I have loved the Royal Institution this year. Excellent presentations by Prof Christopher Jackson Helen Czerski and Tara Shine. This was my favourite series in recent years. Lots of really good science, superbly relevant and a veritable showcase of and female scientists!

I want to give Royal Institution when I grow up! Amazing to see young people being inspired by science and it’s always been one of my favourite bits of Christmas telly.

Finally got some time to settle down and catch up on the Royal Institution

Prof Christopher Jackson - smashed it mate 👍 Is it too late to switch from physics to geology?! 😀

(also great to see Dr Tamsin Edwards popping up too!)

Tara Shine showing what a skilled communicator she is - explaining the impact of in simple terms, through games and using props that make climate injustice so apparent - But also suggesting how we can change things too

Watching on . A Coronavirus special. Scientists talking to scientists, teaching young people. No journalists. No politicians. Just the facts. Essential viewing (plus I've learned something).

Yes, yes yes. I know that the are aimed at children, but explains the science of viruses, and why we should all , so it’s brilliant.
