On May 6,1944 this tank,under command of Maj. Ezra Rhodes, was climbing the #Kohima Ridge to support troops of the 2nd Div. during the #BattleofKohima .Today the tank remain in the exact position as a mark of respect for those who gave their lives in the defence of freedom.

Very excited to announce that my next single 'Kohima' is out on April 16th!

'Kohima' is inspired by the war fought in North East India during WW2. The song is about a soldier's emotions during a brutal battle.

75 years ago today Capt Jack Randle of the 2nd Bn Royal Norfolk Regiment earned a posthumous Victoria Cross during the #BattleofKohima .

His sacrifice and that of many others was remembered by a joint British, Indian and Japanese delegation at the Kohima War Cemetery recently.
