I had a brilliant time at presenting posters on echo simulation and peer review. It was sparked some really interesting discussions and it was great to meet people from so many different specialisms

Your lungs aren’t the only part of your body that will benefit from breathing . There’s been a correlation found between air quality and brain function, child development, heart health, and more!

AprilAire has you covered with IAQ solutions. bit.ly/3KX6UCO

This is excellent to see, well done! Very sorry for being absent and not getting in on the woman power pictures we have in St Georges Cardiac Physiology. However throughly enjoying the discussions at my first ever physiological science theme board meeting SCST NSHCS

Fellow physiologists, how do you structure your Ambulatory ECG reports?

We use the format-

Predominant rhythm
Ectopic activity
Conduction abnormalities
Diary entries

I'm sure that there's no guideline linked to AECG.

This week we opened two newly refurbished cath labs at St George's Hospital, and the first patients have already been treated in the new facilities!

Cath labs are used for diagnosis and treatment of diseases like heart attacks 🫀

Check out the shiny new space 👇
