More than 350 descendants of Yip Sang gathered for the Yip Family Reunion this past weekend in #Chinatownyvr . Now in the 7th generation, members of the Yip family were given guided tours of the Wing Sang Building, the original home of their family, now #ChineseCanadianMuseum .

it's maddening that 2 intergenerational #ChinatownYVR groups are being denied positions in the Lunar New Year parade by Chinatown orgs that are more concerned w/ business interests! if the parade is abt 'fostering a sense of community, unity'? why can't they march in the parade?
