More than 350 descendants of Yip Sang gathered for the Yip Family Reunion this past weekend in #Chinatownyvr . Now in the 7th generation, members of the Yip family were given guided tours of the Wing Sang Building, the original home of their family, now #ChineseCanadianMuseum .

Community is everything. The Chinese Benevolent Association (CBA) in #chinatownYVR was an umbrella organization that provided representation for all Chinese in Vancouver and especially those who didn’t quite fit into one of the surname or clan organizations. 1

Marco Polo Supper Club in #chinatownYVR once welcomed entertainment greats and good eats. The space started off as a railway station and the remnants of it were still there when the building was torn down in the 80s.
