For the second year in a row TCS London Marathon workers setting up fully block Cycleway4 dangerously forcing contraflow cyclists into oncoming traffic with no signal. They don’t block the road of course & no formal closure. TfL This is appalling. #LondonMarathon

The cycleway & floating bus stop haters don't think people like this #cycleway4 user can get value out of segregated infrastructure like this and be kept safe from the traffic. Just like it can for young children and the less confident, cycleways can actually be used by everyone

Nice to see work continuing on the final Lower Rd section of Cycleway4. I note this morning that the road is marked off on the remaining stretch between Plough Way and Lidl.

🥳 The missing #LowerRoad section of #Cycleway4 (straight line in maroon) being built now! Ultimately = safe route from #Greenwich >Tower Bridge.
Campaigned for by our Greenwich Cyclists Lewisham Cyclists for years. Replaces a total lack of safe routes + the very dodgy purple section.
Great we’ve had clearing of broken glass on #Cycleway4 & mechanical street sweepers will be along in the next few days to ensure it is all clear.
