George Chisholm, a bank clerk living in #Winnipeg , sent this 'whizbang' postcard to his mother in #Saskatoon on April 6th, 1917. He was marked as 'Missing' following the attack on #VimyRidge on April 9th, and was confirmed dead a few days later. #WWI #FWW
Asa Quick of Maple Creek #Saskatchewan served with the 10th Battalion CEF in France. He joined the unit on 7th April, 1917. He was killed two days later in the attack on #VimyRidge . #WWI #FWW
