I’m fasting this morning because I need to have a blood test (for my haemochromatosis) and my mouth is watering at the smell of these spice cookies. First thing I’ll do when I’m back from town is a cup of tea & a biscuit!

Latimer Alder The red dot here is how much iron you need in your blood. ~2ppm. You can't even see it. 3ppm and you get Haemochromatosis. 1 ppm and you get anemia. It's amazing how small concentrations can have large effects. Science!
