Bumblebee Conservation Trust I’ve found a bumblebee nest in my lawn which is really nice to see. It survived the mower before I realised it was there. To make sure it doesn’t get mown or accidentally stood on by my 9yr old it’s marked with a red flag 🚩.

Second visit from Bertie B since setting up a wee night vision camera in my garden, so I can watch my nocturnal visitors. 🦡🩷 The owl/s still elude me, and sadly no hedgehogs but maybe they’re snoozing now. Zzz

A very positive and informative meeting with NatureScot today, discussing a collaborative working approach for Scotland's rural communities. Looking forward to further discussions between our organisations.

Just love the view on my way home, nestled between Lough Neagh, Slieve Gallion and the Sperrins.

Pretty nature depleted in places but plenty of scope to restore and reconnect nature.
