When the Kendal Rosefinch is showing well, but it’s your first time phonescoping 🤦‍♂️

Popped along to Hopefield SuDS at dusk and was treated to some lovely bobbing from the Jack Snipe while a Water Rail crept around at the other end of the pool. The street lights gave just enough illumination for phonescoping 😂 Easily my most enjoyable views - I’d recommend it 😀
