Great to see Sanibel’s world famous Lighthouse Beach reopening to the public after months of rebuilding.

As soon as the barricades came down, hundreds of beachgoers streamed-in.

This is yet another sign that our community is bouncing back after months of Hurricane Ian recovery.

This is very subjective, but for me:

2) Sanibel Island/Captiva
3) Marco Island
4) Cape San Blas
5) St Augustine

Destin getting too packed, Miami, Fort Laud not included because you mentioned “calm”

Washington Journal I want to see how long it takes Biden and the Governor of Pennsylvania to get I-95 reopened, when Hurricane Ian hit Sanibel Governor DeSantis got a bridge built in less than a week, I bet it will take a year creating higher prices for goods that travel that road

Now the Sanibel lighthouse is open again, I probably should check it out at some point when I get a chance to come visit you. The tower itself is off limits to visitors but you can still take pictures from the outside. Anyway, it should be a lot of fun.

It’s hard to believe that after a months long closure due to Hurricane Ian, Sanibel Island Lighthouse beach will finally reopen to the public on June 16th though the lighthouse tower will always be closed. Visitors can at least get to see the lighthouse from a safe distance.
