1700 blk S. Yale, house fire. Fire was started accidentally by burning leaves, it quickly spread to the porch & nearby combustibles. Wichita ordinance requires min dist of 15 ft from structures for fire pits and it is illegal to burn leaves in the City limits. #wichitaFD

Approx 1108 a.m., apartment fire, 100 blk S. Ridge Rd. Fire attack brought fire under control; was isolated to ext balconies of 2 units, other units unaffected. No interior damage sustained. No injuries. Cause was improperly disposed smoking materials on the balcony. #wichitaFD
