I stopped by demonstrations by NYSANA inside the Legislative Office Building in Albany this week.

Happy to see my friends from Local 1199SEIU💫 when they came to Albany to advocate for #MedicaidEquity in the upcoming New York State budget.

On Monday, I visited the Cornell Cooperative Extension in Albany as they shared how CCE's work strengthens communities across New York State. I had the pleasure of meeting with their head lobbyist, Maple, a baby goat.

Wonderful reception this morning with Commonpoint Queens where we discussed the great work they’re doing in Queens keeping children and families engaged with meaningful programming.

🎓 Kicking off our #TurnOnTheTAP campaign this morning — it’s time to:

✅ Raise the maximum income threshold from $80k
✅ Raise the minimum award amount to $1k
✅ Restore $400m+ in decreased funding
✅ Expand the definition of students covered
✅ Secure even more operating aid
