Last night Dr Smuts facilitated a discussion around the short film HOLD: A Celebration of #20YearsOfSameSexMarriage in SA, France & Belgium @ the UJ Arts & Culture. Our PhD student, Tshepo Maake, was one of the panelists & provided a critical overview of heteronormativity in SA.
Looking forward to this seminar on #Democracy and #polarisation happening 10 May. Hope to see you there!
Tomorrow we co-host this important conversation to stimulate discussion with activists on South Africa & #FreePalestine . Join us @ 5pm, 14 May @ the Wits Humanities Graduate Centre.
