During the African Girls Can Code Initiative bootcamp, we were privileged to receive leaders and mentors meet and inspire our students including Mr Gaspard Twagirayezu, Minister of Ministry of Education | Rwanda. He shared his personal experiences as an engineer & the girls also presented their projects. #InvestInWomen
It's a wrap! After an intensive & enriching 2week boot camp, the 2nd African Girls Can Code Initiative in #Rwanda came to a resounding close today.
With our partners, we convened to celebrate the 75 girls who participated in the #coding & #robotics boot camp. Excellent demos from the innovators!👩🏾💻
This afternoon, we launched the 2nd bootcamp of the African Girls Can Code Initiative in collabo with Ministry of Education | Rwanda, Ministry of Gender & Family Promotion | Rwanda, Ministry of ICT and Innovation | Rwanda, with support from SIEMENS, @DTC_Rwanda & STELA, Inc.
75girls received laptops &will be empowered with key #ICT skills in ✅️Robotics ✅️Programming ✅️AI.
#HappeningNow Our Stakeholders’ Validation Workshop of Phase 2 in Addis Ababa!
