#MomentsOfBeauty in #Glasgow : For those concerned that the wee #Brutalist Buchanan Street gem, the BOAC Building by architects Gillespie Kidd & Coia, with all its white heat of technology character, was vacant, good news as it looks like it isn’t going to vacant for long 👀👇😅!
A brilliant couple of days with P6/7 at Logan Primary School.
Exploring local rock art at Ballochmyle and creating their own rock art prints.

So After the Garden Festival... team also includes UofG Arts & Humanities Kenny Brophy - fabulous project which really has engaged with Glaswegians, Scots and people from around the UK who attended.
Excited to be recording Glasgow City Heritage Trust #IfGlasgowsWallsCouldTalk podcast with After the Garden Festival... in #Glasgow ’s South Rotunda on the River Clyde aka Nardini’s / ‘The Dome of Discovery’ which is now the HQ for Malin Group = check out the view of the Finnieston Crane…👀👇😮🥰!
As I was born in 1989, I sadly missed the Glasgow Garden Festival by a year, but it was fascinating to listen to Niall interview an excellent panel from After the Garden Festival... about its ambition & impact on our city.
How do we recapture that audacity to drive forward the city's growth today?
Fun evening out recording a podcast for Glasgow City Heritage Trust about the ‘work’ we’ve been doing collecting stories & memories about the Glasgow Garden Festival After the Garden Festival...
Great to be back in Malin Group South Rotunda - famous as Nardini’s during the Festival.
The After the Garden Festival... project was gifted a pile of archive & merchandise today via one of my students. In there were some sheets of fantastic stickers from the Festival dating back to 1988!
In anticipation of that, here's a glimpse inside and a hint of the elegance that Nardini brought to the Festival: fashion shows, immaculate waiting staff (and a wine list that couldn't be more 80s).
