The BBC's framing is not innocent. Presenting violent goons being given a free pass by the police to attack peaceful, anti-genocide protests as 'Rival protesters clash' conceals two things:

Who's doing the violence to whom, and the fact that the state sanctions such violence.

Why our politicians and media are fine with a genocide of Palestinians:
