🔔Today a landmark vote was passed in the Lords.
✅ Peers voted in favour of a firewall amendment to the #VictimsBill to stop police reporting migrant victims to immigration.
🗳️ Now the amendment must be reconsidered by MPs. I sincerely hope they vote in its favour. 1/2
This is a shocking increase. Although men are the majority of those sleeping rough,women are more likely to be statutorily homeless, particularly lone mothers. As rents continue to rise, so does the risk of women's homelessness-which remains underestimated theguardian.com/society/2024/a…
