Diagnosing MSA-C is challenging. We solved this using MRI. In a 20 year study we show that ~ 0.8 mm/year atrophy of pons and middle cerebellar peduncle diameter is diagnostic. True throughout the disease course. @MSACoalition National Ataxia Foundation

Patients with sagging brain syndrome due to loss of spinal CSF often present with compulsive repetitive flexion (at the waist) with breath holding (CoRFBiS). We believe this is pathognomic of the syndrome. Schmahmann Lab spinalCSFleak #FTD neurology.org/doi/10.1212/CP…

We’ve identified the somato-cognitive action network (SCAN), a newly recognized network within human primary motor cortex that disrupts the famous—but incorrect—motor homunculus, and has strong connections to high-level control networks. Now out in nature nature.com/articles/s4158…

I'm speechless.
Not peer-reviewed yet but a submitted paper.
The 'presented images' were shown to a group of humans. The 'reconstructed images' were the result of an fMRI output to Stable Diffusion.
In other words, #stablediffusion literally read people's minds.
