In this American Political Science Review paper, Sirus Dehdari, Kåre Vernby, Sven Oskarsson and Karl-Oskar Lindgren study the gendered effect of divorce on voter turn-out. While both sexes are adversely affected by divorce, the effect is much more pronounced for men. doi.org/10.1017/S00030…
