Full credit to The Rusheyhill Project, Donna Rainey, Daniel McAfee and others across the Borough who have been campaigning so hard for more nature-friendly approaches to mowing and green-space maintenance. This is a small win- there's so much more to do.
At #BallymoneySpringFair last week, we put out at bucket at my stand with the alpacas for people to throw in some change. Delighted to send the £107 collected to the Causeway Council Mayor's Charity, RNLI 🛟
Many thanks to everyone that donated 🙏

🌟 FREEDOM OF THE BOROUGH 🌟
What an incredibly moving and poignant morning, joining with councillors to bestow the Freedom of the Borough of Causeway Coast and Glens on #health and social care workers.
Thank you to you for all you do for us 💙

Delighted that Environmental Services Committee approved my proposal this evening that Causeway Council work with colleagues at NI Commissioner for Children and Young People & EA Youth Service to engage young people in exploring how we action #UNCRC General Comment 26 (Climate Justice).

Watching the 1974 #Eurovision on BBC Four BBC iPlayer, it's striking how different it is now compared to 50 years ago. But, the heart is still there. And, no one captures that more than Hannah Waddingham.💣 in her introduction. The perfect blend of cheeky and respect.
Many thanks to Building Communities Resource Centre (BCRC) #Ballymoney for an excellent conference this morning. Great to hear about all the work, especially in supporting those in need of protection in our community. So much to think about.

Emotional afternoon at Lyric Theatre Belfast seeing the incredible production of #Agreement . Just stunned at how brilliant it was.
A reminder of how much courage it took, all those years ago, to deliver us the promise of something better.

Great to be with the Mayor this morning to welcome the Communities Minister, Gordon Lyons MLA, back to #Ballymoney for the Causeway Council / Communities NI 'Celebration of Sport', at the Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre.
Great to see so many young people taking part!
Delighted to be at last night’s performance of Gaslight, by the Clarence Players, as part of the 83rd #Ballymoney DramaFestival .
Over the years, I’ve seen so many great plays performed on the stage of Ballymoney Town Hall, and maybe even been in a couple myself…

What a day 💛
Spent much of it doing what I love most- talking with young people!
Amazing conversations with pupils from across the Causeway Council area, especially the #Ballymoney schools, at #PupilVoiceCCG .
Always a youth worker...

My garden pond is packed with #FrogSpawn 🐸
So pleased to see such a array of wildlife returning to the pond in the 4 years since we re-built it, as a lockdown project.
If you spot any, be sure to log it with Freshwater Habitats Trust for the #SpawnSurvey .

Full day at the Alliance Party conference, and only took one photo 🤦🏻♂️
Great to catch up with my old boss,Celine McStravick, CEO NICVA.
For years we did the party confs together with NCB in Northern Ireland, so bit surreal to be on the other side of the table today 🤣
