My first Public Lending Rights cheque for library use of Wired for Music!

In Canada, no one needs to sheepishly tell an author they borrowed their book at the library instead of buying a copy. Thanks to this Canada Council for the Arts program, we get a small cut anyway.

I 🧡 libraries!

In 2003, loss of life from toxic drugs hovered between 400 and 500.

Twenty years later, the number is more than 2,500 — an increase of 400%.😞

Every shred of evidence points to cooking with whole foods as the best approach to health and longevity.

But we need to figure whose job it is to do this. And stop treating food prep as a low-status task — in individual families and society in general.
