There are four species of robberfly recorded in Ireland. These include: Dune Robberfly (philonicus albiceps), Irish Robberfly (Machimus cowini), Common Awl Robberfly (Neoitamus cyanurus) and Dioctria baumhaueri was recorded in 2015.

First Swift back in one of the old boxes this evening. Only noticed it as I was checking the tyre pressures on the missusโ car and heard it call from above me! 3 of the new boxes were only installed today after much stressing. Bat box going up tomorrow! SaveOurSuffolkSwifts EBwS Bird News
