Hour 29 in A&E waiting room with son who is waiting to be admitted. Staff are great but ther aren't enough of them. Ambulances stacking outside, again Ambulance staff great but swamped. Answer is simple - next General Election, don't vote Tory or they'll destroy the NHS for good.

On Tuesday 08/03/22 I announced in the Council Chamber at budget we have committed to paying the Living Wage Foundation rate for our towns care workers.
Its not enough to just 'Clap for our Carers', we need to value them where it counts, and that's in their pay packets!

We are working with all the commissioned care providers to make this happen as soon as we can in Blackpool.
