Last week, Nantasha Williams joined neighbors and colleagues in government to co-name a section of Linden Boulevard in honor of the late Reverend Robert Ross Johnson, a founding pastor of St. Albans Congregational Church and spiritual leader from Southeast Queens.
I’m honored to serve with Alexa Avilés & Mercedes Narcisse who had the vision to hold today’s important and unprecedented hearing on the specific & unique experiences of Black Migrants. Over 1,000 people showed up at City Hall, and what a beautiful sight it is to see!!
Thank you, Adrienne Adams & Nantasha Williams, for working to restore critical funding to the NYC Commission on Human Rights (@NYCCHR).
We echo the call on the Adams Admin to adopt this funding recommendation from the New York City Council in the FY25 budget.

“Women's #EqualPayDay serves as a stark reminder of the ongoing struggle for workplace equity. It underscores the importance of dismantling systemic barriers that hinder women from receiving the same compensation as their male counterparts. ' - Nantasha Williams #EqualPayNY
Special thanks to Nantasha Williams, a key government partner dedicated to bringing this initiative to underserved communities.

Today I joined City College of NY fellows at the Moynihan Center for a panel on public service.
Spending the afternoon w/ Nantasha Williams, Council Member Shahana Hanif and students was a great reminder that while we may be the first, we will definitely not be the last.
Thanks for having us!
