The predicted increase in dementia in future means Wales must invest in support for unpaid carers. Last week, ITV Cymru Wales Wales This Week programme spoke to Jake Smith, our Policy Officer and Paul who cared for his father who had dementia before he passed away.

We are excited to share that the Carer’s Leave Act should come into force on 6 April 2024!

Employers and carers should be aware of additional details published in the draft regulations which lay out the terms of the Act.
