A reminder to Wes Streeting and the Labour Party. Choosing to spend NHS money on the private sector will hurt patients

Everyone needs the NHS, but Wes Streeting refuses to recognise what the NHS needs:

- £40 bn/yr extra funding to match equivalent European countries
- an end to wasteful privatisation 💰💰

Instead, he wants to turn people against each other - not patriotic, not positive, not OK

We should be working to retain our NHS staff and attract back those who have left. Scrapping services that currently make working in the NHS tolerable seems purposefully designed to kill the NHS.

A very positive step forward from Louise Haigh. In our new Preston Labour manifesto we will explore how we establish a bus company so we do what most councils did until a few decades ago and directly provide bus services to benefit communities.

Private Finance Initiatives have been a rip-off meaning:
❌ Fewer teachers
❌ Fewer nurses
❌ More pollution

This is why it's so important to run public services for people, not profit.

Now is the time to make Labour realise that the catastrophic NHS privatisation being advocated by Wes Streeting will cost the Party many, many votes.

This is not what people want. They want the NHS back to what it was in 2010 when it had its highest-ever public approval rating.

4.⛔Step in to safeguard local bus networks
