In 2022, the Troy and Rensselaer community rallied to demand ICE release Ms. Q, end the ICE contract, and close the Rensselaer contract. We celebrated when she was released 1 year ago. About a month ago, ICE re-detained Ms. Q stating she should have been deported long ago.

Ms. Q is a beloved partner, daughter, sister, & longtime NY State resident who fled violence in Ecuador as a child. After being injured & denied medical care in ICE detention, she spoke out about the conditions of her detention.

Ms. Q continued to bravely speak out about the horrific conditions of ICE detention, but was re-detained by ICE just before the holidays. Please join us to demand that ICE release Ms. Q and grant her a stay of deportation so she can stay with her family in the U.S.
