Today I decided to get away from my desk & into the field with the amazing #TEELab Asian School Of The Environment team setting up our automated #AI #biodiversity monitoring systems across SG. A super exciting project in collaboration with UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology The Alan Turing Institute National Parks Board. Watch this space! ๐ท Marx Yim
A year ago today we launched #PlantAtlas2020 : the most in-depth survey ever undertaken of the British & Irish flora.

Check out episode 3 of our Costa Rica #fieldwork diaries, where Jenna Lawson is currently deploying automated biodiversity monitoring systems as part of the AMBER project ๐โคต๏ธ
Follow Jenna from UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology as she sets up the AMI systems in Costa Rica. The first tropical sites for the #AMBER project. Singapore is up next! At #TEELab Asian School Of The Environment we are busy receeing our field sites with National Parks Board. Exciting times!
๐ฝ Join biologist Jenna Lawson behind-the-scenes on fieldwork in Costa Rica. Episode 1: Meet Jenna!
Catch further episodes over coming days as Jenna & collaborators at @TropicalStudies deploy innovative systems to monitor Costa Rica's diverse wildlife๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ต

๐ขVery excited to announce the new project I'm working on UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology! We're going to be forecasting future biodiversity trajectories under different pathways of socioeconomic and environmental change in the UK.
We're seeking collaborators on the project; see below to get involved๐
New๐ in Ecology. We demonstrate six approaches to estimating population parameters from nonprobability samples (e.g. from citizen science) in ecology. In our e.g., the parameter of interest is species occupancy. Great team Oli Pescott + gavin stewart. esajournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/epdf/10.10โฆ
