And so ends another Cell Symposia Exercise Metabolism meeting. An absolute pleasure, filled with great science and even better engagement. A big thank you to the organisers for a fantastic meeting. Wonderful to meet so many friends and colleagues from over the years.

The findings of this one suggest that morning moderate intensity exercise combined with pre-breakfast metformin intake may benefit the management of glycaemia in people with type 2 diabetes.
