Important study for new class of drug that shifts cardiac substrate utilisation from free fatty acids➡️glucose (improves cardiac efficiency esp when O2 is limited).

Ever wondered if high altitude can provoke arrhythmias?

These authors took 34 healthy young men to Everest (14 reached the summit).

~40% had an arrhythmic event (most of which were bradyarrhythmias that occurred during exercise).
