LSE Department of Economic History had a very successful weekend at the Economic History Society Annual Conference in Newcastle.
We presented two papers in the New Researcher Sessions, five posters in the New Researcher Poster Session, and eleven papers in the academic sessions. 🧵
It was a pleasure to present my poster on the persistence of aristocratic wealth in 19th c. France and the digitisation of the 'Tables des Successions et Absences' at this year's Economic History Society Annual Conference in Newcastle. Had so many great conversations at my first conference!
Thrilled to be included among the researchers awarded an EHS prize this year. Congratulations to everyone, and thank you to the Economic History Society prize committee!
