Our #Leadership Thought of the Week is from Robert Frost, who used observations of the natural world to explore social themes in his poetry.

It reminds us that sometimes we may have to make difficult choices and take a more challenging path if it's the right thing to do.

This morning, Rachael from the RSPCA (England & Wales) came to visit High Crags Primary Leadership Academy. The children have made bunting to celebrate the 200 year celebration and are having their faces painted to raise money.

Today the children in Reception enjoyed exploring large scale painting. The children worked together and used a range of tools such as rollers and paintbrushes. We discussed what the painting could be. Ebony said ‘It looks like a garden of pretty flowers’. #eyfs

Our home role play area has had a change and is very popular with the Nursery children.

We always have a domestic role play in Nursery as it provides lots of opportunities for children to role play their own experiences.
