This is a worry. We need Long Duration Energy Storage to get going sharpish e.g. hydrogen stores and other low-carbon storage to provide flex when the wind stops blowing

Encouraging new gas plant (which I'm not totally opposed to) at the expense of LDES seems a high price to pay
