The Wizards have added Deni Avdija in their updated injury report, listing him as questionable to play tonight against the Bulls because of a non-Covid illness.

Richaun Holmes will not play tonight, Brian Keefe said. It'll be the fifth game in a row that Holmes has missed because of a toe contusion.

With Jared Butler's new standard contract about to become official, the Wizards will need to open a spot on their 15-man roster to make room for Butler. To open that roster spot, team officials intend to waive Isaiah Livers, a source said.

The Wizards have upgraded Deni Avdija and Johnny Davis to available to play tonight against Portland in Washington. Avdija suffered a migraine Wednesday after he was hit by a LeBron James elbow during a game. Davis missed that game because of a left ankle sprain.
