Laws of Unintended Consequences:
1)Anything that can possibly be misused in DSM will certainly be misused.
2)Once DSM makes a mistake it takes on a life of its own
3)Most changes do more harm than good

Thanks Autism Centre of Excellence at Cambridge (ACE) for highlighting the alarming high rate of deaths by suicide by autistic people. It's 10 years since we published data on this, a wake-up call to governments, yet the situation remains as appalling as ever. We need good support services for autistic people

Performance poetry tip for schools: think of your body being in a box. For some lines, the box is tall and thin, sometimes it's small and square, sometimes the box is huge. Your hands and legs (gestures and movements) reach the edges depending on what's right for the line or word

A fun and fruitful collab between Wadham Arts and A Lunchbox Magazine for Giving Day. From face-painting to sewing to collaging, participants found creative expression in lots of different ways and produced some really nice pieces.

Well I took a long time, but thanks to University of London, my mothers dream came true and she can finally tell her friends I’m a doctor! So grateful to the Vice Chancellor, Pro Vice Chancellor and faculty members for my honorary doctorate. And congratulations to all graduating today!

One of the most beautiful books I’ve read - cried - laughed - surprised by the gaze into a topsy turvy world migrants survive - medical puzzles were rather good too
