If one wants to learn the effectiveness of LTNs look at hospital admissions for respiratory illnesses near/on boundary rds where traffic has been diverted. Are there less cars due to LTNs? No! look at red routes where the less affluent are. Where do majority of asthmatics reside?

Every so often politicians blame those on benefits for the country’s financial woes

They’re an easy and vulnerable target

I see patients on benefits, believe me when I say most want nothing more than to be free from pain, depression, illness, disability and to live and work

Social Environmental Justice A bit of nuance needed here. Sunak just conflates everything. It's wedge politics, so treat with care, best to avoid. Me? I'm pro-ULEZ tho' it was poorly implemented; LTNs - I'm against most, they just displace traffic; 20mph on most urban roads - I strongly support.

Urge anyone who uses Croxted Road or can sympathise with congestion levels & road safety here to support this call for action.
